Question by : Tattoo art/designs websites by heritage?
Wondering if anybody new of any good websites to look at Tattoo designs/art/symbols based by heritage? I’m Polish and Mexican/Spanish and want to get some ideas for some tattoos.. I checked out tattoojohnny.com and it was helpful but anymore websites would be much appreciated!!

It sounds like you want a custom piece so I’d advise you to choose an artist first then see if they can come up with something based on your criteria. That’s quite a mix you have going (I’m Irish, French, German, Ojibway) so finding a single suitable site isn’t likely to happen.

Question by biggenius0891: What episode of Supernatural did Sam and Dean get the possession tattoos?
The episode Jus In Bello of season 3 Dean hands everyone in the police station trinkets to ward off possession. Agent Hendrickson asks what about you and both Sam and Dean pull their shirts down to reveal the tattoos. I thought there was an episode earlier in the season where Ruby the girl demon gives them the tats.

We never actually saw Sam and Dean getting the tattoos but in the season 2 episode ‘Born Under A Bad Sign’ after Sam was possessed by Meg, at the very end of the episode Bobby gave them both charms to ward off possession in the future. Rather than risk losing the charms, they decided the only permanent way to protect themselves against possession was to have the charm design tattooed on their chests. The charms that Sam and Dean give Hendricksen and the others in ‘Jus In Bello’ are replicas of the charms that Bobby originally gave them in ‘Born Under A Bad Sign’.

I thought they were two brilliant episodes ; )

I think the episode you’re thinking of with Ruby could be ‘Malleus Maleficarum’ where Ruby throws Dean a hex bag to ward off the black magic being used on him by Tammy.

Thanks to holiday madness, illness and general lack of photo mojo I’ve missed the last few "Me Again Mondays" Very happy to be back. Love this week’s theme of eternal.

Some 20 years ago I first toyed with the idea of getting a tattoo, but my fear of pain combined with not really knowing what I would want to have on my body forever kept me from doing it. Having my two kids took care of both. Childbirth made any pain from a tattoo seem like a walk in the park and the overwhelming love, an eternal love, I feel for them makes me know I will never regret having something of my little pisces and cancer forever on me. (little pisces is a stretch since that 13 year old is now at least an inch taller than me.)

I also need to give a shout out to my dear friend Lydia who gave me the tattoo for my 40th birthday. I’ll return the favor in 2 years when it is her turn to step into her 4th decade. (wait if she is turning 40 it is really her 5th decade right?)

boring….will a tattoo make you more important or unique, highly unlikely!! you’re WAY too young! if you’re going to get a tat, get it when you’re older….it will have a lot more meaning. you’re only getting one to make ya look cool at ur age

That tattoo looks sick. If you get it on the foot, good luck. I heard it hurts. The Japanese writing seems cliché, but that’s just me. Go with what you feel!

Please don’t get a chinese or japanese writing if you are not asian. It is wise to get a symbol of your own cultural heritage. For all you know, it could say “kick me”.

Most women get tattoos on their feet/ankle.

i really don’t understand why people are so skeptical about tattoo’s. if you are going to post nasty comments, what’s the point?
i think your tattoo will look awesome. if you are sure about getting it, and are happy with the design then i say go for it. don’t listen to other people being nasty, it tends to be through jealousy.
plus, i’m seventeen and have 3 tattoos and don’t think it’s too young at all. being 17 doesn’t mean you cant make your own decisions. its your body! i don’t regret mine in the slightest. i hope it goes well for you lovely.

I am looking for some examples of a fallen angels wings for a tattoo. It would look not like an angels wings, but more along the lines of the scars the wings would leave. Does anyone know of any examples?

you can alway’s ask for a custom tattoo, where they draw it for you , otherwise try www.everytattoo.com . I would try to draw a pic of what i want for an example. Most tattoo parlpur’s do custom drawing’s . So hopefully this helps you out.
